A supernatural Youth community that is all about Jesus!
At IVY YTH we are committed to creating a place where young people can be honouring to everyone, be passionate about Jesus and grow in their relationships with God, their peers and the team. We meet through YTH Nights, groups, socials and monthly Centrals.
NXT GEN YTH
NXT GEN YTH is for youth in years 9-13. We meet on a Monday Night 7:30pm - 9:15pm through Hubs (1st, 2nd & 3’rd Monday of the month), NXT GEN Nights (4th Monday of the month), and socials (5th Monday of the month). We are committed in raising the next generation to be discipleship focused Matt 28:19 and Spirit empowered Luke 24:49.
NXT GEN HUBS
Our Nxt Gen Hubs are for years 10-13 and currently meet at 2 different family homes on a Monday Night. They are built on 3 foundations: knowing Jesus, growing in community and becoming more like Jesus and finally going into the world doing as Jesus did.
NXT GEN NIGHT
NXT GEN Nights are for years 9-13 and our chance to come together as a larger community on the fourth Monday of the month - to worship together, learn from scripture, pray for one another, hangout, see what God is saying to us and create space for us to hear from the Holy Spirit.
YOUNGER YTH
Younger Yth is for years 6-9, with year 9 being our transition year where they can come to younger yth weekly and go to NXT GEN nights and socials. Our Younger Yth is often where you’ll find our NXT GEN YTH leading and creating great relationships with the younger yth. We have 2 ways a Younger Yth can meet with us, Sunday Morning and Sunday Evening.
SUNDAY MORNING
Sunday morning is for years 6–9 and we meet at the Didsbury 9:30am service. Here the youth have the opportunity to find a community of young people, grow in their relationship with God, make friends, have Bible discussions and play games. We will head upstairs after the first section of worship which is usually around 9:45am.
SUNDAY EVENING
Sunday Evening is for years 6–9 and we meet 6pm - 7:30pm on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 5th Sunday of the month. The evening is split into 3 sections:
6:00–6:30pm – Hangout & Activities
Choose your space:
• Quieter zone with gaming, table tennis, card games & crafts
• Louder zone with big group games
6:30–7:00pm – Upfront Time
Worship together, hear a short talk, and have space to respond
7:00–7:30pm – Activity Choice
Pick how you finish the evening:
• Bible study & prayer upstairs (Year 9’s especially encouraged)
• Return to the quieter zone
• Join in wide, high-energy games

Luke Anthony
Hey everyone, I'm Luke and I have the awesome privilege of leading the YTH at Ivy Church. I have such a passion for young people to come to know Jesus and the transformation that brings. I'm married to Laura and we have 2 kids, Grace and Isaac.
Passion
We are all about Jesus and therefore want to develop passion for God, worship and the word to foster discipleship in the YTH.
