Information for you

Accessibility

We wholeheartedly embrace the belief that every individual is created to worship God and can be fully welcomed into our supernatural community, just as Jesus welcomed people. We strive to create an environment that is genuinely inclusive, welcoming, and accessible to everyone so that all can participate in our community through worship and discipleship.

Our goal is to foster a culture of acceptance, respect, and understanding for people of all abilities. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone is valued and recognised, and where barriers, whether physical, communicative, or sensory, are proactively addressed and reduced. We welcome open dialogue and feedback as we work to continually enhance our accessibility efforts.

Physical access to our buildings

We have taken proactive measures to ensure our church buildings are physically accessible to individuals with disabilities.

Step-Free Access

Our facilities are either designed or adapted to accommodate wheelchair users and feature accessible entrances and ramps. All doorways are wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and mobility aids.

Parking

Designated accessible parking spaces are located near the main entrances. These spaces are clearly marked and reserved for those with accessibility needs, whether acute or chronic.

Seating

Our seating is flexible, and spaces are available for wheelchair users and those who require additional legroom or support.

Toilets

We have accessible toilet facilities on-site, equipped with handrails.

Sensory Adaptations

Recognising the diverse needs of our congregation, we offer sensory adaptations to facilitate an accessible experience to as many people as possible.

Hearing Loop System

The Didsbury worship space is equipped with a hearing loop system to assist those with hearing impairments. Please switch your hearing aid to the 'T' position to benefit from this service.

Quieter Spaces

We recognise that some individuals may need a quieter space during services or events. We have areas in both venues where the sound levels are reduced, please ask anyone in a blue t-shirt for more guidance.

Sensory Boxes

We offer sensory boxes at the main entrances of both buildings which contain various items to help those with sensory processing needs.

Lighting & Haze

We do not use any form of strobe lighting, moving lighting or haze within our services or events.

Assistance Dog Friendly

Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of the church.

Online Services

For those unable to attend in person, we offer online services, broadcast at 10:30am each week. Our website is designed to be accessible, with options for text enlargement, high contrast, and screen reader compatibility.
