Why study theology?
We are passionate about the importance and power of scripture - it’s God inspired and God breathed. It’s always sufficient for all matters of faith and practice. It’s life changing and our greatest discipleship tool. It is at our fingertips and yet can sometimes feel distant or out of reach of our understanding.
We want to further equip you to see and understand the nature of God as revealed through his Word. Following God is a great adventure, and we want you to have spaces where you can know God more, grow in confidence and then go and live this out where God has called you.

Why study with WTC Theology in the Manchester Hub?
Our WTC Manchester Hub is an expression of a supernatural community that’s all about Jesus. You will join a vibrant group of people who share a common desire to know God more, delving into his Word, his nature, and the history of the people of God together.
Over 10 years at Ivy Church, more than 160 people have studied with us in Manchester, and we’re excited to continue the journey with you.
How it works
How does it work?
Studying with WTC offers a range of part-time Kingdom Theology course opportunities. You will learn in community with a combination of teaching input through term time Hub nights and bi-annual residentials, seminar discussions and independent study.
Hub nights
Teaching input at the Manchester Hub on Monday evenings, 6:30pm - 9:30pm.
Residentials
Bi-annual residentials give you focused teaching input and time together as a learning community.
Seminar discussions
Talk through what you’re learning, ask questions and hear from others on the journey.
Independent study
Go deeper with reading and study that fits alongside life, work and church.

The 2 year Certificate in Higher Education, a great place to start your theological studies.
BA (Hons) in Kingdom Theology
The full 6-year BA (Hons) in Kingdom Theology, studied part-time alongside life and church.
GradDip in Kingdom Theology
For graduates wanting to go deeper in Kingdom Theology.
Church Planting and Leadership
A Graduate Diploma focused on church planting and leadership.
